Dan Piraro of “Bizarro” joins me today. He’s one of my favorite cartoonists of all time, and we talk about his 25 years in the biz! Find out why B. Kliban’s book “Never Eat Anything Bigger Than Your Head” changed his life…learn about the symbols he hides throughout his comic…Find out about the animated film by his friend Nina Paley, who introduced him to the Cintiq…learn how this self-professed introvert did a stand-up comedy tour! “Bizarro” truly is one of my favorite all time comics, so it was quite the honor and pleasure to talk to Dan, and his candor and humor make this one of my favorite interviews.

Tremendously entertaining podcast. Piraro stands among the cartooning giants. So funny for so many years. Glad to hear the nod to Kliban, one of my all-time favorites.
Captain, sir! Good to have you aboard! And yes…hearing Dan’s influences brought back a lot of memories of my own childhood…the off beat stuff like Kliban, Gahan Wilson, and my particular fondness for Edward Gorey. Dan’s certainly one of the most consistently funny panel guys of all time. He and Dave Coverly of “Speed Bump” hold my top 2 spots.
