This strip evolved from the original idea into the final version you see. The original version had Martin uttering the “ninjamotronics” line. The more I threw this around in my noggin, the more I thought it would be funny if Martin was too speechless to finish the line.
Artist note: I’ll just be the first to point it out… The newspaper in the first panel is upside down. I suck.

I like the old font much more – it lent a certain manic feel to the strip. This looks too much like Andy Capp.
