I am so glad it’s Friday. This has been the week from hell. First, the Pinkerton site gets hack, prompting me to fully rebuild it from scratch (thank GOD I backed up the database..see the post below). Then we get 2 feet of snow…no exaggeration. Then my GF’s car threw it’s transmission. I loan her MY car and borrow the family clunker. One bit of good luck here: It’s a Subaru with AWD and virtually unstoppable in the snow…that is if the battery doesn’t die on you mid-blizzard. Yes…dead battery.
So with all that, I almost said screw it. I almost…GASP…ran a re-run.
But, I couldn’t do that to the fine readers of Pinkerton. The Frequenty Fliers as Tucker would say. So here is Friday’s strip. Please do me a huge favor and say hello in the comment section. I really would love to know you’re reading!

Even Alabama’s getting in on this snow thing, we may get upto THREE INCHES on the ground and yes the entire state has ground to a halt. Luckily there is a new Pinkerton to get me through the…urm…blizzard.
LOL!!! I bet 3 inches of snow in Alabama is a state emergency.
Rest assured, Mr. Witmer, I am watching the gang’s antics…..and the snow…..here in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee! And yes the weather sucks when you have to get out in it to go to work. Oh, for the long lost days of youth when a blizzard was a thing of joy!

I’m not sure if it was the build-up or the fact that I have one, but that Discover Card line really cracks me up. I don’t think I have ever heard it described as diabolical before. It’s the Dodney Dangerfield of credit cards.
Also, thatnks for the snow news everyone, it’s nice to be reminded that there is an up-side to living in California, the air pollution capital of America and the land of perpetual drought.

That’s what I’ve learned this season. Even if, nay, especially if the snow is NOT the actual problem with said car. (As one who recently had to also borrow the family clunker AND make my husband walk 7 blocks to work in the snow.)

Coming to this dance late. Thank goodness for Tall Tale Radio. Just finished reading your strip from the beginning. REALLY enjoy your strip. So VERY tired of the snow…
